The splash park, which officially opened June 17, 2017, includes five major, tropically-themed splash pads, the River Boat Adventure ride and support facilities such as the Wheelchair Valet, where guests can transfer out of their personal chairs into specially-designed waterproof wheelchairs.
The only theme park of its kind in the world, Morgan’s Wonderland offers more than 25 attractions including rides, playgrounds and gardens for everyone’s enjoyment. Paralyzed Veterans of America recently honored Morgan’s Wonderland and Morgan’s Inspiration Island with the 2018 Barrier-Free America Award, which attests to the parks’ mission of inclusion – bringing together those with and without disabilities for fun and better understanding of one another. Both parks admit those with physical or cognitive challenges free of charge.
In addition to its regular attractions, Morgan’s Wonderland will host summertime special events including a Wednesday, July 4, salute to active-duty members of the armed forces and first-responders such as firefighters, law-enforcement officers and emergency-medical professionals.
