Actors With and Without Special Needs To Perform Shakespeare at Morgan’s Wonderland Dec. 14, 15

WHO: Shakespeare in Wonderland theatrical ensemble of individuals with and without special needs; audience comprised of Morgan’s Wonderland guests enjoying “A Wonderland Christmas.”

WHAT: Abridged version of “Much Ado About Nothing,” one of author William Shakespeare’s most-famous works.  The production is one of the highlights of A Wonderland Christmas, special holiday entertainment presented on select evenings leading up to Christmas.

WHEN: 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, and 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, 2019.

WHERE: Morgan’s Wonderland, 5223 David Edwards Drive (at the intersection of Wurzbach Parkway and Thousand Oaks Drive, a half-mile west of IH 35 in Northeast San Antonio).

WHY: To provide entertainment over and above the more than 25 attractions Morgan’s Wonderland regularly offers.  “Much Ado About Nothing” is included in park admission.  By showcasing some of Shakespeare’s most-popular characters, Shakespeare in Wonderland is able to educate about The Bard in a fun and entertaining way.

“Much Ado About Nothing” also will be staged at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, and 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21.  Another popular show – “Hartman’s House:  A Holly Jolly Christmas” – will be presented Sunday, Dec. 22, and Monday, Dec. 23, the final evening for A Wonderland Christmas 2019.
