WHO:  Special guest speaker Jessica Rafuse of Seattle, senior program manager for Microsoft Accessibility; Infinite Flow wheelchair-dance ensemble of Los Angeles; five honorees                            who’ve excelled in befriending people with special needs; Morgan Hartman, namesake of Morgan’s Wonderland; Gordon Hartman, Morgan’s Wonderland creator and CEO of The Gordon Hartman Family Foundation, and wife Maggie; and more than 500 fans of Morgan’s Wonderland.

WHAT: 10th annual Free to Soar Gala benefiting non-profit Morgan’s Wonderland, the world’s first theme park designed with special-needs individuals of all ages in mind and built everyone’s enjoyment, and ultra-accessible™ Morgan’s Inspiration Island splash park.

WHEN: 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019.

WHERE: Morgan’s Wonderland, 5223 David Edwards Drive in Northeast San Antonio, a half-mile west of IH 35 at the Wurzbach Parkway-Thousand Oaks Drive                intersection.

WHY: To raise funds so those with special needs can continue to be admitted free of charge at Morgan’s Wonderland and Morgan’s Inspiration Island.

ETC.: Among the evening’s highlights will be a 26th birthday celebration for Morgan Hartman.  Also to be recognized are five champions of the special-needs community whose names                        will be permanently placed on the theme park’s Wall of Fame.  Entertainment will include a dance performance by Infinite Flow, featuring an able-bodied dancer and a                                                    wheelchair dancer; and vocal selections by the Morgan’s Wonderland Inclusion Fusion Show Choir, comprised of singers with and without special needs.

A dance workshop by Infinite Flow that’s free and open to the public will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, at the Morgan’s                                Wonderland Event Center.  (The clinic does not include free admission to Morgan’s Wonderland.)
