We are actively recruiting individual volunteers to help us during the expanded summer hours.  If you are interested in volunteering this summer and meet the requirements described below, please fill out an individual application, save it, and email the application back to our volunteer coordinator.  After it has been reviewed, you will be invited to our next training which will be held on Saturday morning, June 1st from 9 am to Noon.  This will be the only volunteer training until late July. 

 

 


Dedicated volunteers are essential to the success of Morgan’s Wonderland. We depend on the generosity of trained and motivated volunteers to help keep the park an economical and safe place for everyone to play and learn. At Morgan's Wonderland we have both individual and group volunteer opportunities. (While many of the same requirements apply, group applications must be submitted on a separate form and, in some cases, group work is performed when the park is closed.)

 

Volunteer Basics

 

We look for individuals who:

  • Are outgoing and guest oriented
  • Have a good work ethic
  • Can work two 3-4 hour shifts a month on average
  • Are comfortable around individuals with special needs
  • Are at least 16 years of age
  • Are able to stand for periods of time and can work outdoors
  • May have special skills & training (special ed, fisherman, gardener, etc)

 

Types of work possibilities:

 

  • Attraction/Ride Assistant (side by side with staff)
  • Program/Event Assistant (Senior Fridays, educational programs, etc)
  • General tasks (cleaning, landscaping, minor maintenance, etc)

 

Number of volunteers needed:

 

  • Attraction/Ride Assistant (6 to 10 anytime park is open)
  • Special programs (1 to 4)
  • Large events or special work needs (groups of 5-25)
