WHO: Morgan’s Wonderland guests.
WHAT: Special opportunity for Morgan’s Wonderland guests to view a traveling photo exhibit in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Eva’s Heroes. The exhibit features portraits and personal stories of 59 participants of Eva’s Heroes, a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of individuals with intellectual special needs.
WHEN: Beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016, and continuing during regular park hours through Friday, June 17.
WHERE: Morgan’s Wonderland, 5223 David Edwards Drive (at the intersection of Wurzbach Parkway and Thousand Oaks Drive a half-mile west of IH 35 in Northeast San Antonio).
WHY: To help celebrate the 10th anniversary of an organization that works closely with Morgan’s Wonderland to help individuals with intellectual special needs.
ETC.: Morgan’s Wonderland, which is completely wheelchair-accessible, features more than 25 attractions including rides, playgrounds, gardens, a picnic area and rest areas. New this season is Whirling Wonder, a colorful Ferris wheel that transports riders more than five stories high for panoramic views of the park as well as construction of Morgan’s Inspiration Island, the world’s first ultra-accessible splash park due to open in spring 2017.
