WHO: Trinity, Braille and Sonny, three incredible canines that help make life better for individuals with special needs.
WHAT: Opportunity for Morgan’s Wonderland guests to meet, interact with and photograph this talented trio of therapy dogs on National Therapy Animal Day.
WHEN: 10:30 a.m.-noon Saturday, April 30, 2016.
WHERE: Morgan’s Wonderland, 5223 David Edwards Drive (at the intersection of Wurzbach Parkway and Thousand Oaks Drive a half-mile west of IH 35 in Northeast San Antonio).
WHY: To recognize all of the exceptional therapy animals who partner with their human companions to bring comfort and healing to those in need.
ETC.: This meet-and-greet will be the prelude to a new and recurring Morgan’s Wonderland feature – Therapy Animal Sundays, beginning Sunday, May 1. On these special Sundays, Morgan’s Wonderland guests will be able to meet and learn about amazing animals specially trained to assist those with special needs.
Morgan’s Wonderland, which is completely wheelchair-accessible, features more than 25 elements and attractions including rides, playgrounds and gardens.
